PDO Threads
PDO threads are created with polydioxanone, a material that has been used for multiple decades in tissue engineering. It is safe and effective for an instant lift of the skin to combat the effects of aging and skin laxity.

Silhouette Soft® Threads
Silhouette threads are made with PLLA, or poly-L-lactic acid, which is effective in providing skin rejuvenation. Used for years in injectable treatments, PLLA is now available for threading in order to offer exceptional outcomes for an overall younger-looking face.

During your scheduled appointment, we will invite you to our minor procedures room to relax comfortably in the treatment chair. Then, we will use a washable marker to mark the incision entrance and exit points on your facial skin. To keep you comfortable during the procedure, we will inject a local anesthetic, such as lidocaine, into the skin before the InstaLift sutures are threaded into your incision points. It is important to follow all your plastic surgeon's aftercare instructions. The procedure lasts 45 min – 1 hour. In the following weeks, the threaded cones and sutures will dissolve to jump-start healthy collagen production in the process.
